How to use:
Simply select your preferred unit of measurement and enter your height (in centimeters or feet and inches) and your weight (in kilograms or stones and pounds) and click Calculate to find out if you are classified as healthy weight, underweight or overweight.
BMI is a general guide that is suitable for an average healthy person, but remember that the calculations may not be suitable for everyone, particularly athletes or those that are very muscular, some ethnic groups, infants, children and adolescents, and pregnant women.
